The genuine warmth of welcome, and standard of experience of my stay at Fingle was, once again, the best. I travelled for a living once, ( in UK, France, Germany, Scandinavia, Italy, USA,) and Fingle is the place I most look forward to re-visiting.

Had a really good few days staying at Fingle with Jane and James. We were made to feel very welcome (lovely tea and flapjack!), superb breakfast selections, helpful and friendly advice on places to visit and good walking routes. Brilliant to have our own beautiful bedroom, bathroom and lounge area to relax in. Fingle is in a great location, we...

Yet another visit to Fingle and to Jane and James. Every time I visit is like going home - such a warm welcome - you are made to feel like part of the family. I had a lovely 2 night stay and, as ever the breakfasts were delicious - home made jam - scrumptious! This time I found a beautiful...

Following the road advices we had received, which were handy, we parked right outside the house and were immediately invited to come in the house through the kitchen door (my suitcase taking care of). Both owners could not have made us more welcomed to their house. Our bedroom, and our private bathroom were situated at the back of the house...

Fingle was the perfect place to book my mum and dad into. They were coming to Uplyme for the weekend as we had a family occasion to attend. I am living a few miles away so unfortunately I didn't have an excuse to stay! From the moment I phoned Jane, I felt welcomed. James and Jane made all of us...

My now Fiancé and I returned to Fingle after a wonderful stay there the previous year. It was our 10 year anniversary so I wanted to plan something extra special. Knowing how much my fiancé loved Fingle I thought it would be the perfect treat to stay at Fingle again and go to River Cottage HQ for a meal. River...

Fingle is just outside the busy but charming town of Lyme Regis. The property is modern, beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. Jane and James (the owners) made me feel really welcome and at home straight away. The room I had was a double room which was light, airy and comfortably warm. The bathroom is separate but not shared and there...

Jane and James made us feel so welcome - like coming home! The rooms were beautiful as ever and the breakfasts were delicious. I missed out last time as I was doing a cooking course at River Cottage.
