Jane and James made us so welcome. From the delicious choice of home preserves each morning, fresh varieties of fruit each day,the local sausages and the yummy muesli,we felt totally spoilt. The Ammonite room was very comfortable and pretty.I live in the country and am used to very dark bedrooms.I mentioned this to James and when we returned in the evening he had...

This was our first visit to Fingle and from the moment we arrived our hosts made us feel very welcome at this comfortable and well located Bed and Breakfast. The food was of an excellent standard with home made touches and Jane catered for my gluten free diet. Jane and James' local knowledge meant that they were able to direct...

WE have visited Fingle Bed & Breakfast 4 times and it gets better each time. The hosts Jane & James are so warm and welcoming. The food is excellent especially the home made preserves. The rooms are spotless and also the new shower room. Ideal situation for walking into Lyme Regis not to be missed .

This was our fourth visit to the wonderful Fingle, our previous visits where to go to The River Cottage. This time we were in great need of rest and relaxation and for us the only place to do that was with Jane and James at Fingle. We spent three nights in the Ammonite room and as on previous occasions we...

Our second visit to Fingle was as good as the first. A warm welcome, immaculate room and plentiful breakfast to cater for all needs. The rooms are spacious, tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms and Janes famous flapjacks given for the long journey home. A new bathroom in the downstairs room looked amazing. I would highly recommend this B&B...

Stayed at Fingle for a visit to River Cottage. Jane and John were extremely friendly and accommodating. Fingle felt like home and the breakfast was first class, particularly the home made granola! Would definitely recommend Fingle and hope to stay again next year.

We had a lovely two night stay with Jane and James at Fingle. Our room was very comfortable, beautifully clean, and the breakfast was truly lovely - fresh fruit, cereals, full English etc, although we couldn't face the same again on the second morning as we were still full up from our visit to River Cottage for dinner the night...

A lovely stay with the hosts. A great breakfast with home made jams and muesli a bonus. Very clean and made to feel at home. Our room was not ensuite but we had our own bathroom next to our room. A brilliant place for Lyme regis or a trip to River cottage

This was the second time we have stayed at Fingle B and B. Jane and James are so friendly and welcoming, and so kindly prepared our delicious breakfast at an earlier time than usual. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the bed very comfortable. This is without doubt, the best B and B we have stayed in ,in...

The genuine warmth of welcome, and standard of experience of my stay at Fingle was, once again, the best. I travelled for a living once, ( in UK, France, Germany, Scandinavia, Italy, USA,) and Fingle is the place I most look forward to re-visiting.
