My wife and I have spent many weekends in Marloth Park, always in self-catering facilities, so this was our first stay in a catered lodge. Beautiful setting and easy access to the Kruger National Park. Meals are excellent and prepared to your personal choice. Staff very friendly Will be back. This is an ideal venue if you want quiet time to reflect (stay at least 3 nights)

My girlfriend and I stayed in Needles Lodge for 3 nights and it was just amazing from the minute we entered the lodge. We were greeted by professional and friendly staffs and also by wild zebras and Kudu just outside the lodge! Needles Lodge was our last stop on our 15 night trip to southern Africa and it was great that there were still things for us to discover. At the lodge itself we saw our first bushbabies, African fruit bats, and duiker. We tasted the culinary wonder that is biltong and marveled at the skottel braai while on a game drive...

At the lodge we were very happily welcomed by Collin, our great host. The food was amazing, the accommodation was clean and beautiful and the setting was jawdropping. At night the cute bushbabies came out and we also saw 2 kudus (!) and zebras at the lodge. How wonderful was our stay here! We were also lucky the other guests...

Needles lodge is an excellent choice for experiencing the Kruger area. The rooms are comfortable and basic, and the Wi-Fi is not the best, but then again, we are in the bush :) They've got a lovely boma area where one can star gaze while cozying up by the fire. What an amazing, caring business! The manager helped us get a tow service for our broken-down vehicle after we'd checked out of the lodge AND allowed us to hang out on the patio to admire the zebras while we awaited our ride to take us back (even though we were no longer paying guests).
