We will definately be going back. The whole experience was refreshing. The food was delicious. I have a food allergy and was thankful for how accommodating the staff was. Will be talking about this experience for awhile.

Great weekend at Cabot Shores Wilderness resort, Paul is so accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The chalet was well equipped with anything you would need and very clean. Snow shoeing was a blast and the scenery was spectacular. The Bistro had delicious food and something for everyone. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone and will certainly be...

Delicious home made food, great hiking trails, nice staff members Hot tub and sauna should be available to all guest free of charge (especially for sub-standard Hot tub). Rooms were very cold when we got there, hall way and entertainment room (include pool and table tenis table) was with no heat (we cranked up the heat) and main hall/restaurant could...

I booked accommodations here for myself and 7 of my colleagues for a business trip in Cape Breton in February 2017. We stayed for two nights (Wed and Thurs). Accommodations were comfortable, and we felt completely at home. Paul and his wife went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. They even went so far as to...

Anyone interested in heading to Cape Breton I absolutely advise you to NEVER stay at CABOT SHORES RESORT!! The place is gorgeous but thats where the excitement ends. The bad far outweighs the good: -we ask to partake in the meditation, owners wife says "no i cant be around you women! You wear too much perfume and I am very...

Cabot shores is a great place to escape the noise of civilization and connect back to nature. I was looking for a camping style cottage-like-resort and was referred to the Yurts. We stayed in the forest yurt with a hot tub on both nights. It was a snow covered wonderland, on the 4th we snowshoed the Red Island Trail just...

I found Cabot Shores after doing a fair bit of research on glamping In Cape Breton and this seemed to exceed all of my thoughts and expectations so I was so eager to arrive after booking. I planned this trip as a celebration for my five year anniversary so I wanted to do something unique, special and exciting. I booked...

Cabot shores was a beautiful place to stay for our first visit to Cape Breton. We stayed in the Big Red Yurt which has a beautiful water front view. We did the "Snow much Fun " and "Deluxe" package which included the hot tub, sauna and guided snowshoeing and breakfast and dinner for 2. The breakfast is small with eggs...

We had the red yurt. It was AWESOME. The yurt stayed pretty toasty all night with the woodstove going. Had a great view of the water from the deck off the yurt. Loved that the cell reception wasn't that great because it forced you to go off grid for a bit and we all need that sometimes. The wood fired...
