May 2013: Caroline and Kevin made our stay a memorable one in both the excellent B&B as well as in Puffin. Luxurious comfort and beautiful surroundings made our first trip to Orkney a perfectly relaxing and very enjoyable one. The location is peaceful yet near main sites of interest and a short drive to Stromness. Puffin is fully equipped with... More

It was lovely to meet you both and good to get to know you in the bed and breakfast and then in The Puffin. We appreciate all the good things you have to say about The Quoys and we look forward to seeing you again in the future! More

We have just ended our third stay at the 'Puffin Quoy' cottage this time for 2 weeks exploring new areas of the fascinating Orkney Isles and visiting old favourites. We love this cottage which is ideal for couples. Its ideally located to explore the islands. One week is never enough on the Orkneys which is why we extended our stay... More

As always a pleasure to have you stay in The Puffin again this year-and you even saw a whale! It's always the best compliment we can have to have our guests return year after year.. Once again thank you for the review and for taking the time to tell others about us and to give your recommendations. More

We stayed at Puffin Quoy for three nights in May 2013. The apartment was so much more than we expected. Every detail- from the quality appliances, the bedroom furniture, the bathroom and spa, the kitchen (with its wonderful sparkle in the granite bench-top), the decor and views from the living room reflected both a vision for hospitality and a respect for... We stayed at Caroline and Kevin's B and B for two nights in May. It was our favorite accommodation during our 2 week trip to Scotland. We liked the location since it was out of town but in between Stromness and Kirkwall and close to some of the main sites. It is also very close to the ferry to the... More

Puffin quoy has earned every single star it has been awarded! It is the most beautiful, luxurious conversion of an old farm building, cleverly designed with the living/ dining area having floor to ceiling glass walls turning the room into a luxurious wild life hide! We loved the decor and furnishings, underfloor heating and multifuel stove for a chilly evening.... More

It is almost with a Dickensian pettiness that I write this review of the Quoy of Houton. First, I nearly never get motivated to write them and secondly and most importantly, it is such a wonderful place and with such wonderful people, that like Scrooge it feels almost too good to share. Me and my girlfriend stayed at this B&B... More

We spent four amazing days at the Quoy of Houton B&B and enjoyed every second of it. I've eventually found the time to write this review as we stayed in the small self catering Puffin Quoy at the beginning of September for a week to explore the Orkney Islands.
