Stayed here last night, friendly helpful staff, clean spacious rooms, great breakfast and all at an excellent rate! Will def be back. 😃 the view of the harbour from the room was great and the restaurant food is spot on too.

Staff greeted us with a smile. Hotel warm and inviting and right beside a beautiful beach. Bedroom was spacious and beds were comfortable. Bar food was great and breakfast plentiful. Wet and cold out but fun and cosy inside. Would gladly recommend.

Today we had a grand lunch. Passing through Downings in Donegal, one of our party desperately needed a “comfort station” so we stopped at a hotel in the centre of the town, the Downings Bay Hotel. As it was lunch time we made a "spur of the moment” decision to stay to eat. What a good decision that was! Served...

We went to the Thursday supper club and were expecting mediocre food but boy were we wowed! The friendly service was paralled by the fantastic food. Braised beef is a must. What great quality service, tasty food and a glass of red included. A must go! Food better than your mums.

Called in here on the 28th December for a spot of lunch. The hotel is smack bang in the middle of the beach and village centre. There is plenty of parking right next door. I had a quick lunch in the bistro bar area. The service was super friendly and the waitress even offered me cash back as there isn't...

Top hotel! We were here for such a short stay - that's a shame because it was so lovely.... Swanky, fab breakfast, super-clean, excellent customer service (nothing too much of a problem), and a beautiful location. Thank you x

A beautiful hotel right near the beach. Stayed one night and the staff was very kind. The hotel was clean and had a restaurant and bar downstairs which was great. Could walk to the beach since it was behind the hotel.
