Location, location, location. situated in a small quiet town right on the river were you can admire beautiful sunsets. Nice rooms very clean with a B&B vibe. The food is unbelievable. I stayed there 5 days and tried most of the menu and everything was delicious.

We learned about this hotel in an article in the Globe & Mail. We arrived on a stormy cold day after an 8 hour drive. Our gloomy mood influenced our initial impression. The weather brightened and so did our assessment. The hotel is gorgeously located on the St Lawrence River. The rooms are simple BUT have absolutely everything you need...

If someone asked us what we liked best about this hotel, we would have a difficult time to say it in one word, except that it is out of the ordinary, . . . in a very pleasant way. A handful of things are at work here, among them an eye for detail and a unique personal touch that you...

Located in a beautiful town on the Saint Lawrence River, this auberge is simply wonderful. The welcome was swarm and friendly. The room overlooking the river was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Bed very comfortable. The room with balcony was hanging right over the beach and river. Then, the evening meal was delicious, well presented and beautifully served. Breakfast...

The room was perfect, beautiful view from the balcony. Friendly staff. The meals were fantastic but the portions were so small that it left us wishing we could go to another restaurant to finish our meal.

This Auberge right on the shore of the St Laurence River north of Rimouski is a spectacular setting with very charming rooms. Be sure to ask for a room on the water side and you can sit on your own balcony and watch the sunset! Leave the sliding door open if weather permits and the sound of waves will lull...

The highlight of this small establishment is the food and the service. The inn itself is probably a 3 star facility but the charming staff as well as the owner's culinary expertise elevate it much higher. Plenty of french literature around adds to the ambiance. Certainly worth a detour or stop over.

We keep coming back to this place on the shores of the St. Lawrence. The first time we went, I had made a reservation for only one night. Midway through dinner I put down my fork and went to the front desk to ask if I could stay another night. It's that kind of place. The food coming out of...

Right on the banks of the St Lawrence, this Auberge is truly a delight. With books in every room and in the well furnished reception area you feel right at home. The food is most excellent and from local sources whenever possible. A wonderful place to relax and watch the changing light or take walks along the coast.

This small hotel, located in the charming sea side resort of Metis-sur-Mere, has fabulous food, a fantastic location right on the banks of the Saint Lawrence, and one of the nicest inn keepers you'll ever find. We spent two nights here in this American plan (dinner and breakfast included in the rate) B and B in a lovely room with...
