This was meant to be a simple 3 night retreat for my family an I and it delivered. I am mid 40's, spectacular wife of 18 years and 2 children 11 & 13. First and foremost if you are seeking luxury and multiple amenities this isn't your stop. If however you want a clean room/bathroom/kitchen, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful...

Stayed here on way from Bonavista Peninsula to Gros Morne National Park. Nearby is Terra Nova National Park, a beautiful place. The motel is nothing special (though has a good history) and a bit pricey for what you get. That said, the people there are quite friendly and it is right next to the Park which offers tons to do.

We stop in to the Clode Sound Restaurant several times a season and have always been delighted with the quality of the food. Fresh roasted turkey daily with dressing and gravy made from scratch. The best French fries done crispy - the way we like them. Pan-fried cod with just the right amount of scrunchions and the best partridgeberry bars...

This place is not known at all. If you are going through the Terra Nova National Park and you forgot to eat, stop at this place. It is very good. I had pan fried cod and it was very fresh. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is fast. You will love it.

We were on the road to Bonavista but had to stop because it was late already. Around 7pm we found Clode Sound Motel in Charlottetown, going across Terranova National Park. The welcome was wonderful and to our great surprise, the unit (number 9) was of a wonderful vintage style. Absolutely perfect!!! Beds are probably not incredibly comfortable, but just fine...

All motel rooms are old and dated, the cabin is nice but there is only one... Pool and hot tub are dirty and usually not open for use. Avoid this place. There's are much nicer accommodations in port blanford which is only about ten minutes away. When I complained to staff about the accommodations the older woman there was rude...

We were on our way to Fogo Island and decided to stop for the night. The motel wasn't cheap, $109 for the night but it was clean. It looked like the decor hasn't been changed since the 1960's. The type of place that would be good for hunters, etc. It was equipped with a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, however, there...

I searched for a long time for a hotel in or near the park. I was very happy to find this place. The staff is friendly. The room was only adequate. There was hair on our sheets and we were concerned the sheets were not washed. We were too tired to ask for new sheets. We would stay again due...

I really like this place. This is my third stay here. It is right off the highway but in a very quiet location. It is cheerful looking with colorful potted plants. It reminds me of motels from the 60s. It has knotty pine paneling on the walls and there is lots fof room for kids to play outdoors. The motel...

We found this to be a charming old fashioned motel with the addition of a great location, a convenient restaurant with good food, a separate kitchenette and dining area in our room. We loved being able to prepare simple meals and eat in our dining area when we wanted and going to the restaurant next door when we didn't feel...
