Found this B&B on trip advisor. Almost did not want to review for fear of it becoming too popular, but that would not be fair to the charming hostess Danielle. We were given a very warm welcome by Danielle and Gucci, the most laid back dog I have met! Directed to park our car at the side of the house...

A lovely B&B in the little town of Castillon-La-Bataille. We stayed two nights and were able to visit around. The room was excellent, the service was very nice & very competent. The back garden was amazing. An excellent value!

We stayed at the Aux Raisans Verts on the first night of our three week tour of France - what a success. Our room was large and well furnished and had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is what you would expect in France with a great choice of bread etc, juice and yogurt. Despite being only a few minutes from...

We stayed in this chambre d'hôtes for a couple of nights while visiting St Emilion. It only takes 10-15 mins to get there, so worth driving a bit to avoid St Emilion's ridiculous prices and lack of choices. Mme Zanoni was very charming and hospitable, also very kindly suggested places to go around the area (Bergerac and Monbazillac proved excellent...

WONDERFUL....Starting with Daniele, the gracious hostess who in spite of being 'closed' provided us with two rooms for two nights. Then, the rooms...full of delight, the beds, the furnishings, the antique linen, so many special touches its hard to describe... Breakfast was as carefully arranged as the rooms with fresh juice, home made yoghurt and preserves. If you are in...

This is a delightful place to stay. The rather austere outside appearance belies the comfort of the interior. Our room was very large, impeccably clean and well-furnished, with a charming shower room. There were many interesting brocante-finds in the room and decoupage items made by Madame Zanoni herself, as well as beautiful antique embroidered linens on the comfortable bed. Also...

Aux Rasin Vert was our favorite lodging on our European vacation. Our room was spacious with an adjoining room for the children. The rooms were spotless, the linens lovely and the rooms tastefully decorated. There was a pretty yard for the boys to play in and an outdoor patio for us to enjoy our wine in the evening. The owners...

We stayed here for five days whilst attending a wedding at Chateau Rigaud. We could not have wished for better our hosts were so welcoming and kind. Everything was great from the elegant very French bedroom to the beautiful garden. Breakfast was all homemade. My only regret is that I cannot speak French. I would definitely recommend this hotel to...

We spent a night here whilst on a two day cruise stopover. Castillon-la-Blaine is about 9km from Saint-Emilion and is around 10 minutes by car or it's the next stop on the train line from Bordeaux past Saint-Emilion. The rooms are delightfully French and have bags of character. They are spacious, clean and well decorated. A Chambre D'Hote is not...
