We had a weekend of skiing at Rainbow and were warmly welcomed by Russel and Margery at their very homey B&B just a few minutes from the main street of St Arnaud and just next to the lake. The rooms are first rate and absolutely quiet - the breakfast was excellent -- and you couldn't ask for more friendly hosts....

Marjorie and Russell, the owners of this unique and cozy B&B are very friendly and willing to make sure you have a quality stay. There is not much in the way of places to eat in St Arnaud, so we ate dinner at this place and the food was very good. Russell makes a great 'flat white' coffee andI had...

We stayed for just one night but as soon as we walked in to the St. Arnaud House we felt that we should have extended our schedule. It was a beautiful wooden house with warm and helpful hosts. The kind host helped us how to find the Southern Cross and the exact South which was a special memory for us....

The evening meal was' to die for' - Margery is an excellent cook and we had a lovely evening with another English couple who were staying that night. The next morning we woke to the gorgeous smell of breakfast...

St Arnaud House is in a very peaceful location handy to good biking and walking locations. We spent a very pleasant evening with Margery and Russell enjoying a lovely meal which we had arranged prior to our stay. Our bed was comfortable with nice white linen and towels. Would definitely recommend.

We had a warm welcome and a lovely meal & stay at St Arnard House. Their home feels like a cozy cabin in the woods, yet close to the lake and Nelson Lakes National Park. Russell and Marjorie made sandwiches with other goodies for us to take with us on our Mt. Roberts walk. We enjoyed talking with them about...

We enjoyed a warm welcome on our arrival at St Arnard House. Our room was comfortable , quiet and convenient . Russell and Marjorie provided many extras; home made cookies with the cup of tea out in the garden surrounded by perfumed lilies. They even arranged Sky Sport at short notice so we could watch the cricket test. Dinner, served...
