#7 of 18 hotels in Petionville
Ideally located between Port-au-Prince the capital, and Petion-Ville, Hotel Montana offers one of the best practical hotel options in the West department. Come to our restaurant Acajou for our international inspired cuisine with the touch of Haitian savors. There you can dine while enjoying our panoramic view of the bay of Port-au-Prince. Being in the tropics, our weather does get delightfully warm sometimes, so enjoy a dip in our outdoor swimming pool under our bicentenary mahogany tree. For those looking for a venue to hold conferences or banquets, we offer 6 conference rooms for groups between 10 to 300.

The place is amazing with beautiful views. The meal served at the restaurant is good either. But the management staff needs to improve its strategy to welcome the clients better. I have no regrets there.

Visited this year first week of July.. Enjoyed a 2 bed/2 bath with kitchen and balcony, large living/dining.. views are spectacular.. For me it is all about service and i cannot complain -wardrobe maintenance, house cleaning, room service, etc. even had a wheelchair ready when necessary.. room service food was good especially breakfast; only once ate at the restaurant - food and view fantastic.. Hotel staff friendly and accommodating.. We shall return to beautiful Haiti and its wonderful people......

I absolutely love this hotel. This was my second time staying here and definitely won't be my last. The ambience, the hospitality, customer service, and food were all top notch. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it offers a beautiful and safe introduction to one of my favorite islands, Haiti.

We stayed here on our first night arriving in Port-au-Prince. After a little bit of a stressful drive in PAP traffic, we found our way up the hill to the oasis that is the Montana. A gorgeous, peaceful property (and kudos - completely rebuilt after the 2010 earthquake), we enjoyed our stay here. Quiet, comfortable room with garden view, wonderful bar/ restaurant with great views (we ate here on another night we were back in PAP later in the trip too) - don't miss the rhum sours - and an excellent buffet breakfast (don't miss the traditional Sunday Soupe Joumou !). Staff is friendly and helpful too. This was the only place we stayed in our 12 days in Haiti where we had both hot water and continuous electricity (though the wifi dropped in and out intermittently which seems to be par for the course). Would definitely stay here again at the end of a trip to relax a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of PAP/ Pétion-ville.

A sublime location atop the hill affording excellent views and fresh breezes. And even though my Haitian friends say not as grandiose since being rebuilt, quite elegant grounds. Beautiful pool and terrace for drinks or a meal. The rooms are fine, if nothing overwhelming. But if you want to stay somewhere for an escape from the chaos below - at a price - this is a nice spot. (Note traffic getting up here can be brutal...but pat for the course in PAP.) Excellent Rhum Sours as well. ;-)
