I spent 2 days and on the Apartheid tour with Malcolm and stayed in their lovely guest house for one night. Malcolm is very knowledgeable and interesting and made sure that I saw everything I wanted to see on the tour. The guest house is very comfortable and I had a fabulous meal there in the evening. All the family...

Janet, Linda and Malcolm were very accomodating and helpful. The historical tour designed for my needs with Malcolm provided essential information I needed for my research. My trip to Kruger with Janet was an experience, I will cherish for ever. Janets respect for the animals and the environment wa an inspiration! And her willingness to share all her knowlegde was...

Everything was perfect. The atmosphere at Ekala farm was amazing, with an hostess cooking like a chief in a luxury restaurant. Our guide was dedicated to make us happy to discover South Africa and its history even the language barrier (we are French: nobody's perfect....). Many thanks to the Ekala family (Malcolm, Janet, Linda), they are all exeptional people.

My friend and I had a few days spare at the end of our time in South Africa. Ekala Eco tours designed and organised a perfect itinerary to match our interests and then delivered an awesome tour. We learned more in those 2 days than the entire 3 weeks previously and the food at their property was amazing. You should...

I came across the Ekala Guest Farm and Eco tours through research on TripAdvisor. Lots of good reviews there, but as this was my first trip to South Africa, I was a bit nervous about what I would actually experience. First, let me state that Malcolm, Janet and Linda are absolutely amazing. I had arranged for Ekala to pick us...

At the end of a perfect two week holiday starting in Cape Town and following the Garden Route to Port Elizabeth where we did a safari on a fabulous Game Reserve (Amakhala), we had a six hour layover at Johannesburg airport. Rather than just sit in the airport wasting time, we booked a quick 3 hour tour with Elaka. Janet...

We tacked on a couple of days in Johannesburg almost as an afterthought onto our Cape Town vacation. Although we booked Ekala mostly because of the great pricing for a bundle including tours, accommodation, airport pickup/drop off and food, Ekala turned into one of the highlights of our trip! Not only is the guesthouse absolutely beautiful, the level of hospitality...

I had a wonderful time in Johannesburg and staying at the Ekala Guest Farm. What a beautiful home with wonderful guest rooms. I stayed in the main house in the Guinea Fowl room which was truly lovely with its own full bath with a shower and a tub. The landscape there is beautiful and just walking down the long drive...

We were looking to visit South-Africa and after a while decided to look for a guide. We found Ekala and discovered the Davis family, who arranged an airport to airport twelve day visit to Johannesburg, Krugerpark, Pilanesberg, Pretoria and so much more. We were amazed by the sheer expertise and passion for everything related to and living in South-Africa. People...
