Thank you for the wonderful accommodations and great advice on our trip! The staff was nothing short of AMAZING! So accommodating with our travel times i.e. early arrival, late departure. They were kind and patient with all of our questions. Additionally, they gave us excellent info on Crete which was our next destination.
My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Art Hotel. We would highly recommend this place to stay and this village for anyone wanting a great experience in Santorini. The front desk staff- Fernando and Eli and George, the bartender are so friendly and amiable. Breakfast was served as room service style, delivered to your balcony and food was great!
The Art hotel is just wonderful-its tranquility personified ! We loved the location-just a 5/6 minute walk into the lovely centrally located village of Pyrgos . We stayed in the “Naughty” suite . Nicely decorated with huge double shower & wrap around terrace with our own jacuzzi. Views are spectacular.. Fab champagne breakfast served on own terrace every morning. Staff are excellent and very helpful . Special shout out to George the barman and Elilie on Reception . Nothing was too much trouble pre stay and during stay. Santorini is stunning & the adult only Art hotel offers you everything you need for a stay in one of the most romantic places in the world !
Good staff, clean rooms , amazing view. The hotel is in a very quiet village called Pyrgos. My stay was magical. The front desk is very helpful and the breakfast is so flavourful . I want to go back for sure . I recommend it with close eyes . They can help you arrange a car as well
4.5/5 Excellent hotel. Great service. The town pyrgos is a bit far from the center of the town but the town has restaurants and markets. It’s also quite close to the ferry port. Would stay again but there’s some issues which prevented it from getting a 5 star. The suite we stayed at, the bathroom is teeny tiny, and I mean tiny. The shower room (separate from the bathroom) is amazing though. The couch cushion was a beanbag chair which wasn’t super comfortable. The private pool has jacuzzi but is not heated.
It was our second time in Art Hotel, and i confirm this choice for his position in Santorini island (everything , excpet Oia , is reacheable in 10 minutes by car) . Staff was kind and helpful, breakfast and pool on the balcony was great!
For a number of reasons, my wife and I hadn't been able to get away this Summer, so decided to make a late dash for the sun in Santorini. We picked the Art Hotel primarily as it seemed well situated and had excellent reviews, and having spent a week there, we can understand why. The facilities are excellent - being upgraded to a room with a private sun lounge area and jacuzzi was a decent start, as was the welcome glass of wine in the room. Our impression throughout our stay was that the staff couldn't do enough for you, and while it was the end of season and therefore fairly quiet, I'm sure its the same at other times. Breakfast was great - brought up to your room each morning, and complimentary bottle of prosecco on our last day a lovely touch. In location terms, the hotel is well situated, being only 5 minute's walk from Pyrgos, with a number of great bars and restaurants, and wew didn't think them too pricey either. You can easily pick up the bus to the capital Fira from the town square for a couple of euro, although it has to be said that the bus company employees won't be winning any customer service awards any time soon, with the bus 'terminus' in Fira I'd describe as chaotic at best. We were just about the last guests of the season I think, and if going again (which I think we will) then we'd probably aim to go a bit earlier. Either way however, we'd definitely return to the Art Hotel as our first choice - we had a lovely time.…
We stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon and had an absolutely amazing time. Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to the Absolute Suite which has a private infinity pool! This was a great way to start our stay. Marina helped for several months leading up to our stay, as well as while we were there, to help us book a sunset wine tour, sunset cruise, a sunset massage, and a sunset candlelit dinner. Each and everyone one of these helped make our stay in Santorini absolutely unforgettable. As part of our honeymoon package, we arrived to 2 glasses of white wine, and later that night they had decorated the room with rose petals, candles, and had a bottle of champagne waiting for us. On our last day, they gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling white wine to have with breakfast :) The complimentary champagne breakfast each morning on our balcony was absolutely amazing. The best breakfast we had throughout our trip! We could choose as much as we liked, which was amazing because we wanted to try everything. From the greek pies to the feta to the sausage, everything was simply delicious. For our last night, we had a catered sunset dinner on our balcony. This was definitely one of the most amazing meals we had in Greece, if not the best. The Dakos and Fava to start were out of this world. My husband got the chicken for his entree and it had such amazing flavor. I got the leg of lamb and was absolutely speechless with how amazing it was! The best lamb I've ever had. The tradition Greek dessert was a great way to end the evening, and the chef even came to introduce herself. I'm giving her 10 stars, absolutely incredible. The sunset dinner is a must! The town of Pyrgos is about a 10 minute walk away and has several nice restaurants and shops. We never had the opportunity to use the hotel bar or room service as the hours were only 12-5 (difficult if you're out all day). However, Marina was so nice and ordered pizza for us one night since we didn't want to walk back to town after a long day :) The hotel is about 20 minutes from Fira and great if you want to stay farther away from the hustle and bustle of Santorini. The perfect honeymoon destination!…
Very nice small hotel just up the road from the village of Pyrgos which was very easy to walk to and from. Bright, modern, spacious room with an outdoor tub and gorgeous views over the island and out to the west- perfect for the wonderful sunsets. Service was good from both reception staff and room staff. Breakfast, served in the room, was plentiful with lots of choice and always very tasty. We have no complaints at all 😊
Got off the vessel where I had worked to find myself end up at the tourist docks, with 4 huge bags to carry along it is not optimal to stay in a small narrow town like Thira where the streets are packed with tourists. The Art hotel is not there, it is in a beautiful pitoresque village further south on the island where one can enjoy peace and serenity to the fullest. Adults only hotel so it is very quiet. Staff is super helpful and will go that extra length so you can relax. No restaurant in the hotel, only a pool bar but the village is a short seven minute walk away. Free wifi with good speed so I could do my job at the same time.
