I stayed here as a lone female for two nights whilst preparing for and undergoing a two day rigorous interview process. The building, surroundings in fact everything was stunning! Staff were so friendly, genuine and helpful. I stayed in a room still to be refurbished (new carpets in place and beautiful new ensuite but frankly the room was still stunning!...

We stayed on a three night break offer. The hotel is in a building that was originally built in the16th century and as a consquence has a delightful quirky charm. There is no lift and the stairs have varying degrees of depth which can be a little disconcerting to the less nimble. However help was readily available with the luggage. Our...

We stayed as a family of 2 adults and 4 small children on 12 June. Make sure you check before going if your room is refurbished or not. We had a room which hadn't been refurbished. The carpet was grubby, the wallpaper was peeling, the decor was very dated, the bathroom was carpeted, etc etc. Truly terrible. We were clear...

Beautiful hotel in beautiful location. Staff were brilliant. Room was excellent, very comfortable double bed, excellent night's sleep, best I think I've ever had in a hotel! (room 7). The room was too hot to begin with as the radiators couldn't be turned off, so I had to open the windows, but it was OK afterwards. (shame to waste energy...

Have stayed at Maesmawr Hall twice now and really like it. Set in a lovely rural location, surrounded by fields and a river. The main timbered building is beautiful and has a lovely dining room. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent as was the service.

We stay at Maesmawr a couple of times a year as part of our small group tours of Wales and it never disappoints. Lee and staff always take very good care of us and we feel as if we have come home as soon as we turn up the drive. Lovely food and a great wee bar make the experience...

Stayed at Maesmawr Hall on a mini-break and were shown to the Coach House annnex which exceeded our expectations, with a super-king bed and a separate lounge. If there was a moan it would be that the bathroom was downstairs, but it was superbly fitted so it was a inconveniance we could live with. The food in the restaraunt was...

We booked this hotel as staying over while seeing Al Murray at local theatre. it is approached by a long wooded driveway set in countryside. We were shown to our room in the old coach house as we were given a free upgrade. The room was amazing so large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was luxurious. We had a quick...

Found this hotel by looking at reviews for the area as I was on a business trip in the Newtown area. It is set back off the main road and has a lovely approach driveway to the main part of the hotel. I stayed in the annex building to the side of the main hotel and had a nice room...
