Beautiful meal top class- very well presented, very tasty and first class service Good choice on menu and drinks reasonably priced. Lovely home made truffles with coffee- a real treat!!! Definitely recommended- will book again

We stayed here during a recent trip to the Welsh Oak Frame Company and absolutely loved the hotel, bar, restaurant and staff. The food was superb - all beautifully fresh and cooked to absolute perfection. We ate here on a Sunday afternoon whilst staying locally for the weekend. We were very impressed with the food. Fantastic meat cooked to perfection served with various vegetable that were individually divine. Would come here again for sure!

Called in Friday evening for a Bar meal. Could choose from Specials or the main restaurant menu.Decided to go for straightforward fish and chips and Gammon and chips. Beautifully cooked and brought to us in the bar by a very pleasant young lady. Choice of local beers, good atmosphere. Value for money price. Again would very much like to recommend...

we went to a wedding reception at the buck i have been told that it was the first wedding reception they had held the room was big & decorated out superbly we had a 3 course meal the food & service was better than i have had in 5* holels in the eveing was a disco & more lovely food...

We stayed the night of a party 2 weeks ago, lovely room, and such lovely people running it, great breakfast, super coffee.Americans would love this old place!! Also great room for party, it has a bar and the drinks were very reasonable.

Three of us ate here to celebrate a birthday. The food was all very freshly cooked and absulutely superb. Dad didnt like fish !!!. But decided to order fresh Salmon and now at age 76 has decided he loves fish. Thanks to the Buck. Not a big restaurant but ideal size for family gathering. Tables not too close together either...

This pub has been taken over and refurbished by a local family. Well done - they have done a great job. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant. Menu was interesting and the food was superb. Friendly staff and we were made to feel very welcome. It was our first visit and we will be back again......soon.

My family and I ate here on a Saturday night. Our party consisted of 5 adults and two young children. We were made to feel very welcome and our orders were taken quickly and delivered promptly. The food was of a good standard nicely presented with home made chips and fresh well cooked vegetables. Would definitely return and would recommend....
