After a long day by bus and then ferry from Scotland, got our rental car and found our way (with vague sounding but actually very accurate directions) to bay cottage, which had been arranged by a travel agent. Loved it! A delightful setting, lovely home, and owner Elizabeth had tea and cakes for us in the sitting room. So civilized....

Faultless - stunningly beautiful location, lovely clean and spacious rooms, fantastic home cooked meals. In addition Elizabeth has brilliant local knowledge to recommend places to visit and picturesque routes to take with useful stop off points to consider. Nothing was too much trouble and would not hesitate to ever stay here again.

Many thanks to you, Elizabeth, for making our stay at your cottage so welcoming! It was grand to have access to a bird identification book, and we loved the emphasis on locally sourced produce and homemade goods. But, even more, we appreciated the hospitality and the care that you exhibited. You are very knowledgeable about so many things, including the...

We really enjoyed our stay at The Bay Cottage and plan to return. I wish I had taken pictures of the breakfasts Elizabeth prepared so I could share them. Locally sourced produce, meats and eggs; homemade baked goods as well as jams and jellies. Her scrambled eggs and smoked salmon were the best we had our entire trip and her...

We found this place by chance, but we were very lucky. The owners are a really gentle people. Mrs McBride is a perfect host and a special cook. The room and the bathroom were very comfortable and clean. Our room had a great special view on the lake and the sunset. We came to stay one night but we appreciated...

Bay Cottage is ideally situated close to Belfast International Airport - but you would never know. The cottage is hidden away down a pretty lane and stands within its own grounds, and the front of the cottage overlooks Lough Neagh. I confess this BB was not our choice- my daughter (who loves in South Africa ) arranged our holiday itinerary...

This was our second time staying at Bay Cottage B & B, and yet again the experience was excellent. Norman & Elizabeth made us very welcome and allocated us to their Green Room which was a very calm & soothing room, with amazing views over Lough Neagh. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows excellent! Our evening meal was...
