Stayed here for a night and were made to feel very welcome. We had a really comfortable stay and sleep. There were also plenty of options available for breakfast. We opted for the cooked breakfast, which was very tasty! Would definitely recommend!

    About
    Hotel description
Roseland B&B is refurbished Georgian gentleman's residence set in its own secluded grounds 5 minutes by car from the A465 heads of valley road. All rooms have their own TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The house is ideally situated for those who wish to enjoy the rich industrial heritage of the area, Big Pit Mining museum and Cae White are at Blaenafon (7 miles), Cyfartha Castle and Joseph Parry's house at Merthyr Tydfil (8 miles), there are 18th century iron works in the Clydach gorge (5 miles) We are close to good walking in the Beacons and the Black mountains and you can walk on to the hill within ten minutes from the house heading towards Trefil and the Duffryn Crawnon valley leading to LLangynidr, Taly-bont reservoir etc. The area is becoming increasingly popular for its excellent biking trails and we have lockable outhouses in which to store your bikes. Cardiff, Newport, Abergavenny, Hay-on-Wye and Brecon (renowned for its jazz fest) are all between half an hour to an hour ten minutes away.
