We returned this year and once again we had a wonderful stay, everything was first class from the room, location, breakfast and hospitality and we especially enjoyed our night cap each evening before bed. We are very sad that it was our last stay at Kismul as the owners are moving on but we hope to stay with them in... More

We spent the day on the Isle of Skye, but we wish we had taken the earlier ferry back to Maillig so we would have had more time at Kismul! It is first rate in all ways. The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The best mattress we had in two weeks. Large towels, great shower head. Good fast wifi.... More

Warm welcome with tea and baking from Catherine and Michael. Very kind and accommodating hosts! Had many recommendations for places to visit and to eat. The view is beautiful and breakfast was amazing. Felt like we were staying with friends. Loved our stay!

Excellent B&B - modern, comfortable, warm and breakfast can be extensive if you let Catherine cook for you: scrambled eggs and salmon, kippers, etc, but also good range of cereals and fruit. The location has a superb view over Loch Morar and even when it is raining it has its own beauty. There are seats at the front of the... More

Amazing stay at kismul, perfect setting, beautiful house, tasty home baking and breakie and a lovely couple. As for the review below I would ignore... There was no noise no smell no campsite and certainly no mess around the house I'm not sure if they stayed at the same house, the owner did explain about the shed that it had... More

This is our second visit to kismul and just a tad disappointed. Although the house is in the most beautiful setting overlooking the loch the area around it was a bit junk yard! As you approach up a single drive road there is a lot of abandoned cars and caravans. At the entrance to the b&b is a half taking... More

We stayed here with family for 2 nights in October. A beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean with everything we could possibly need. The breakfasts were incredible with lots of choices.I wish we could have stayed longer. The owner could not have done more for us. It was a birthday to remember. Thank... More

We just loved the drive to and from Kismul House. Whatever the weather or the time of day, we couldn't resist stopping to take photos of the wonderful sights along the way. And then when we arrived 'home', we loved that our hosts were so friendly, caring and intent on ensuring that we had an enjoyable time. We were lucky... More

Felt in love with the place... Amazing views, all clean and tidy with a love for details. Very nice owners, gave me a room just for one night although I just showed up without any calling... Including lots of tips, a late afternoon tea (with some homemade fruitcake)and a really yummy breakfast: the "pancake tower" is worth to try!
