The staff are lovely, but the hotel is looking tired and the rooms are in need of updating. The food in the restaurant is disappointing. I had a few things on the menu over my two night stay and I wasn’t imprsssed.

We drove into chester but the reception staff are lovely and would be able to advise on taxi prices there is the option of the bus if you take a short walk from the hotel too which we did to go into Liverpool
