I had a very different experience than I would have expected from the other reviews. I was only there for one night but the room was a decent size with a comfortable double bed. It has all of the amenities I would have expected and the ensuite shower was clean and well fitted with good water pressure. The wifi signal...

You can not argue that this B&B had all the facilities, TV, On Suite, Wi Fi, etc. However, the all round quality was poor. The shower was old and mould was everywhere. The wifi signal was weak to the point of being useless. The breakfast was help yourself style continental, selection poor, but the most distrubing aspect was the cctv...

One of the most uncomfortable beds I have EVER had the misfortune to sleep on. After the second night I was seriously contemplating sleeping on the floor. In desperate need of a new mattress. I was staying here because it's cheap and close to where I was working. I wasn't expecting much, I didn't even mind about the chipped paint,...

This place is dreadful, its next to a main road, my room was bright yellow with cracks in the walls and missing plaster. The shower was moldy and the electrics were a triple socket plug and an extension lead. the whole room and bath you could probably just about touch from the middle of the rock hard bed. Your room...

Needed somewhere to sleep overnight since I had a job nearby early on the following morning. Cherry Lodge was close, so booked myself in. Perfectly acceptable for my needs; quiet, all mod-cons including trouser-press, ironing board & iron, kettle & coffee etc. Liked that they did not feel the need to bolt everything to the floor! I appreciate being trusted...

I stayed at the Cherry Lodge B&B as I was working in the local area but paying for it myself. I got a warm welcoming when I arrived. The decoration is dated and maybe needs updating however I found it clean and well appointed for the price charged. The bed was confortable and the B&B was very quiet allowing a...

I had stayed at this guest house a number of times. On checking my bank statement I have found that some 10 days after I left they put through additional charges on my debit card. On following up I was told it was because I had lost my room key!! They were rude and agressive when I explained that I...

I'm a contractor working locally in Hook and booked Cherry lodge as the cheaper of the alternatives on offer. Its not the Ritz, but when I'm paying the bill, its fine. The bed is comfy, its quiet, the people are friendly and I can work using free Wi-Fi in the evenings. I've been there a few weeks Mon-Fri, and you...

I booked myself in for 6 nights as I was attending a course nearby. I arrived late on the first night and was greeted less than enthusiastically although I had advised them of my late arrival. Where do I begin - the room and bed were damp. The shower was alive with mould, the towel and bath mat were filthy,...

I stayed here due to lack of options for my price range! The business parks around the area mean there is a constant flow of consultants and contractors so the local hotels and B&B's charge a lot knowing the business's pay. Unfortunately, I was paying my own way. The hostess is very friendly - Katherine. Breakfast has lots of options...
