Excellent food, lovely bedroom - Molton Brown toiletries, very comfortable lounge areas, fantastic staff who make you feel relaxed. Lunch in the lounge area was delicious (prawn sandwiches). The grounds and gardens are fantastic with many amazing trees. If you want a relaxing treat where you will be made to feel special then this is the hotel for you.

We came here for a wedding, the room was big and dated, the bathroom had a jacuzzi bath. You just need to be extra careful entering the bathroom, with three steps down into the bathroom. I am used to London prices, the hotel is not cheap. I was shocked at drink prices, two single whisky and lemonade £10.51 and a...

Thank you for your comments and, in particular, for your constructive feedback regarding the accidentally spilt coffee and also the time lapse you experienced for your cooked breakfast. Please accept my most sincere apologies. I have also noted your comment regarding the price of drinks for table service in our lounge area and these will be considered next time a...

My husband and I went here for a little romantic break to celebrate our birthdays. Every moment of our stay was lovely. The staff were excellent and had a way of anticipating our needs almost before we even knew them ourselves! They have excellent personnel skills and were attentive but not intrusive. The room was spacious, bathroom huge and the...

My wife and I have a soft spot for Tylney Hall and so we were really looking forward to our recent stay; we booked for a sunday night DBB special rate; this is fantastic value, room breakfast and dinner for £230; we recieved a complimentary upgrade to a very spacious "garden room" sadly the key cards did not work and...

Very pleased to read that you found your recent stay with complimentary upgrade to be fantastic value and that breakfast service was efficient and plentiful. Please accept my apologies for the standard of the creme brulee; this has been fed back to our Head Chef. Thank you for your comments and I am glad to learn that you enjoyed your...

Spent the weekend here and loads to improve on. Stunning location but rooms old and service quite disjointed and poor. For the price and profile I would expect so much more. Every order we placed with staff, they got it wrong. 50% of the staff had poor English skills and I felt I had issues communicating standard requests. P.s this...

I spent a night here recently whilst on a business seminar. On arrival I was swiftly checked in and shown to my room. The room was in a converted stable building across a very pretty court yard. The drive up to the hotel and impression from the look of reception was positive. After brief drive away from lovely hotel into the gardens we ended up at a row of "retirement cottages", which turned out to be our room (complete with glass paneled front door with letter box!). Decor very old and tired, and absolutly not "luxury". Have...

Thank you for taking the time to feed back regarding your recent stay and I would like to offer my personal apologies for your disappointment with the standard of our garden bedrooms. We stayed at this hotel years ago and loved its atmosphere and impressive historical features and gardens.
