High recommend location for a weekend stay, very conveniently placed to access Liverpool city. Excellent facilities throughout the hotel, staff are also very well organised and offer a great service. The food in the restaurant was a delight. I will return to this hotel for another weekend trip.

Tricky review this one because some things good but some very poor but will try to be balanced. Firstly check in, this was a disgrace. For what advertises itself as a quality hotel it was shocking to arrive to find they didn't even have a proper reception but had a small island of touchscreens in the middle of the lobby...

We had previously stayed at the Travelodge across the road and had only used the restaurant bit of the Village hotel to have breakfast . We were so impressed by the way the hotel looked that we decided to stay there on our next visit to Liverpool . The staff were friendly . The hotel was clean . When we...

We had next to no sleep as there seemed to be a party in the room next door. I rang the hotel reception who asked them to quieten down. A few hours later I then rang the room directly to ask them to quieten down and then we were woken again a few hours later. I don't think it is...

Poor value for money. Bad old soft mattresses. Breakfast was extra. I would say the Italian restaurant is OK but the rest is Falwty Towers. Why should guest pay extra for the pool & gym. It took 35 mins to get batteries to make the TV remote work.

This hotel is very dated. The rooms are clean, but the bed in my room, an executive room, was quite hard. The bar has huge screens showing sport. I'm not sure why there are so many pictures of breasts in the dining room. There is a photo of a rather well endowed young lady holding a massive pair of melons...

Generally a good hotel.Clean, tidy with most staff pleasant.Very helpful on reception. The small garden at the back of the pub could do with a clean.Tables chairs and floor all felt sticky and need a good wash.

Lovely hotel, great bar and Restaurant. Brill1ant atmosphere in the bar, more like a "Local", than a hotel Bar. Food very good. Staff very friendly and efficient. Well Kept outside area. Will visit again.

We had stayed a few years ago and weren't impressed but since then the hotel had been renovated and is very nice. Very modern and streamline. Would definitely stay again. Club rooms have a huge TV in them and the cappuccino machine was excellent.
