We booked the Lookout, which is a short walk from the hotel and is a converted fisherman's shack (that might be a bit unfair). The only noise you hear is the sea. No squeaks or voices, helped by the fact that the coastal path was shut. The Lookout is quite small, as is the bathroom. There are few things missing...

Wow! Just got back from a two day break at the Lugger with my daughter. I'd seen photos of the Lugger but wasn't prepared for the proximity of the ocean on our doorstep. Beautiful, contemporary surroundings with friendly, professional staff. The food was exquisite in the evening (the freshly baked bread rolls are to die for!) and I'd particularly opt...

This hotel is situated in a lovely little spot next to the sea and cliffs. It's quite dramatic and perfect for walks, rambles etc so if that's not your thing then probably should go elsewhere. Working fisherman are still there and its a treat watching them while eating your breakfast (if you time it right). The hotel itself is split...

Steep narrow roads lead down to a haven of peace and tranquillity. The rooms while not huge- we had a deluxe- are very clean and comfortable and have welcome extras eg fruit and sweets. There are also surprises like hot water bottles in the beds on returning at night and hot chocolate with marshmallows . The welcome is good and...

We stayed for one night romantic break. Such a peaceful place. The hotel was fully booked however I didn't notice. The hotel is just stunning, Great views amazing food, spent the evening star gazing on the balcony. The hotel have lots of little extras that just made our stay perfect. Will definitely stay again! Highly recommend.

Stayed here with my partner to celebrate our anniversary. It was better than we could have hoped, very romantic: amazing location with beautiful sea views (our room didn't have a sea view, but really didn't mind - could still hear the waves crashing against the rocks!). Lovely room - very comfortable bed, very clean, tastefully decorated throughout and the staff...

Big, clean, comfy double room (number 202), and a sea view like no other. Nice informal atmosphere, very good food at dinner, nice breakfasts, efficient and friendly staff. Ideal for a short stay as any longer than 2 nights might overdo the magic for some. Cons - rather ambitious pricing, and, being slightly picky here, the plates could have been...

The hotel was incidental to our break but provided a homely mellow backdrop. We had a smallish but well equipped and comfy room with a view of the beach. We are in on all but one night but preferred to drink and carouse in the little pub nearby. My parents tried to warn me off this place because they had...

Me and my partner stayed for a long weekend. Fantastic hotel with beautiful view of the harbour, clean hotel with nice dinning and bar area, rooms cleaned regularly. Staff very friendly and ready to help, hot water bottles and hot chocolate given for evenings and little treats provided to your room for the day. Also provided us a little goody...

What a wonderful find. We stayed for 2 nights and were enchanted by this cosy little hotel nestling in its own Cornish cove. Our room was full of little extra touches which made us feel welcome and spoiled. The food was excellent and a big thank you to Daniel for looking after us in the restaurant and serving us drinks...
