We stayed in the Mallard Lodge, very spacious and high quality furniture/ appliances. Highlight of the weekend was feeding the ducks at the end of the decking area. Already booked to go back. Site was quiet, relaxing and well maintained.
Just on the outskirts of Blackpool what a lovely location. We had a 2 night stay. Friendly staff and warm settings. The rooms were well presented and the bathroom was very clean. The controllable heating and quiet melodeon ventelation is a must stay.
Stayed here for 3 nights in the 3 bed lodge. It was immaculate and everything u possibly need is provided. Hot tub is amazing and was like getting in roasting hot bath.
There definitely needs to be a little shop on site as nearest one...More
New Years Eve party
Drinks served in plastic glasses when glasses available
Disco not very good
But a good party mainly due to the company and people in the bar
would not recommend a New Years Eve party in this venue

Sorry, we had our car with us so didn't use public transport. I think there is a bus stop close to the site but unfortunately don't know what services run from it. As for the Welcome Pack I seem to recall it included a small quantity of Tea/Coffee/Milk such as you get in a hotel, in addition we had a dishwasher tablet, washing up cloth, scourer, tea cloth (you might want to take at least one more of these), and a bin bag, plus we had sufficient washing up liquid for the week. There were also some small complimentary toiletries in the bathrooms. Hope this helps.
