Stayed here for one night in late April 2016. The hotel/pub (I guess it's an Inn!) is a very cosy, atmospheric place with friendly staff. It has an updated but sympathetic decor, all charcoal greys, beams and exposed brickwork, equestrian and country sports images and a hint of industrial chic with squirrel cage light fittings. My first impression, staying in...

Really enjoyed our recent Secret Escapes deal at The King's Arms, Didmarton. Friendly staff, cosy room and great food (the steak is thoroughly recommended). Excellent selection of beers too. It's best to reserve a table if dining in the pub during the evening. It obviously has a very good name as it was nicely busy during our stay. Recommended.

We went as a large family group using two cottages and two rooms in the main building. The cottages were joined by a central passage. They were beautifully decorated, well furnished and equipped and spotlessly clean. We were greeted by the smell of bleach and disinfectant which was great. The cottages sleep four or six people and have a large...

Went on a Saturday evening when it was busy and, surprisingly, the dining room for most of the time had a single server. Whilst he worked hard & managed to be friendly and chatty, we were wondering whether this could be kept up. Well, he almost managed it until we wanted our bill and we couldn't catch his eye (or...

Five of us went for dinner...we had five different staters, five different main courses and five different desserts.....not a single disappointing dish in fifteen options. How often does that happen ? We couldn't pick anything out to specifically recommend as it was all really good. We had a lovely table, quiet and private but not isolated. The decor and surroundings...

Room was compact, comfy and had everything, no milk on tea tray though!! The meal I had last time was amazing but I wasn't overly impressed this time im sorry to say. I...

I stayed at the Kings Arms with my son on our way to Wales. I have enjoyed stays here on many occasions, Mark, Emily and the rest of the staff are always friendly. We enjoyed good beer and an evening meal in comfortable cosy surroundings topped off by the sight of a real fire. A freshly prepared breakfast set us...

The King's Arms is a cosy country inn nestled deep within the stunning Cotswold countryside. Combining modern comfort with rustic elegance, each of our cottage-style bed and breakfast rooms have their own individual character. Named after the prize-winning hounds from the nearby Beaufort Hunt, each room includes sumptuous features such as king-size four poster beds, ivory sheepskin rugs and luxurious Feather and Black mattresses and duvets which altogether ensure a relaxing and comfortable night's slumber. Two spacious self-catering cottages are ideal for families and larger parties looking for their own private Cotswolds hideaway. Our restaurant is renowned for using the freshest locally sourced produce.
