Spectacular location just outside city. Very quiet. Staff were very helpful and food in restaurant not could not have been better. We are not golfers but there is golf course associated with hotel. Falconry experience was awesome.

We visited Ireland in October driving from Dublin to Galway on the first leg of our tour. When we drove through the gates we were pleasantly surprised by the stunning setting and the grandeur of the old abbey as it stood with trees and rolling golf course in the background. As soon as we drove up we were greeted with...

My wife and I visited Glenlo Abbey for one night of our honeymoon to West Ireland. We received a very warm welcome, and were informed that we had been upgraded to a fantastic, large room overlooking Lough Corrib, the Pullman Restaurant and Golf Course. While in Ireland I stayed at Glenlo Abbey and it was delightful. This hotel is reasonably priced, historic and has beautiful grounds attached to a golf course. The hotel staff was very helpful from the desk staff to the waiters at the restaurant and bar. They made connections with a tour company for us and it was also eccellent.
