I visited Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Golf Course for a 1 night stay in late June with family & friends from California. The greeting from the staff at reception was excellent, helpful and welcoming. The rooms we had, 3 in all, were great but I was surprised at the lack of consistency within whereby 2 of the rooms had couch... More

We visited here at the end of a ten day trip around southern Ireland. Thank goodness we didn't start there or we would have been sorely disappointed! The grounds are just truly beautiful! When we arrived everyone was so friendly and kind. The receptionist escorted us to our rooms to make sure they suited for adults and children. We had... More

I visited Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Golf Course last Sunday 5th July and was extremely disappointed. A short can ride out of Galway but well worth it. The decor is a little dated but fantastically comfortable! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was high on quality but a little limited. The pub in the basement was great for drinks, not so much on food, pedestrian at best.
