Was extremly suprised by this place. It is a very old coach house which is a friendly pub as well as rooms. Yes it is a bit shabby in certain areas but it is a very old building. The wifi was also good for such a rural area 5Mbps, The food and the service was amazing, the duck leg was...

we arrived on the 9th January. my dad, my brother and I for my uncle Robert's (Jock) Funeral. The staff was lovely & Helpful, the rooms toasty warm and very clean. It was very cold outside but there was no need for the extra quilt. the breakfast in the morning was very tasty (beautiful sausages) and the staff just couldn't...

If this was based on the staff and food it'd have five stars. Unfortunately I found the room noisy, woken by creeking floor boards in every night and early hours. Street noise by youths is beyond anyone's control. I would return, but maybe opt for a different room.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly; I was given a lovely quiet room at the back of the hotel, it was clean & comfortable. Even though the original room was unprepared they didn't hesitate to find an alternative immediately. For part of my stay I was alone to be joined later in the week by my partner....

Enjoyed our stay in this accomodation above the pub. A good location for exploring Exmoor, Minehead and Lynton (we visited all these areas in one day). We enjoyed a good breakfast with very tasty locally sourced ingredients, we also had a lovely evening meal with very generous sized portions. Overall friendly atmosphere with good food.

Firstly I need to point out that my first review of this place mentioned a lady called Sheila, I found out on this visit her name is actually Lindsay! And we think Lindsay is fab! She's so friendly and helpful. My partner booked us in here for 2 nights from 13th Feb to 15th and we had a lovely stay....

The staff and management did there up most to entertain us with there service and food, which I must say was to a very high standard this year. They have a great menu for Christmas and a...

I stayed here recently with my two almost teenage boys . We used it as a base for a walking holiday on Exmoor. We have been there before, and this time found it even better if you like good quality breakfast, friendly service, and good local beer. Wiveliscombe has two breweries! We had a couple of minor niggles but these...

This hotel is justly renowned for it's food and our experience showed the reputation is well deserved. The restaurant was busy the night we ate there but the service was very good, always there and timely but not intrusive. The food was just outstanding. So much so that we both ate too much. Breakfast was perfect, everything you could ask...
