From the minute we arrived to the time we left, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself was beautiful and tranquil, and if you are looking to de-stress this is it! stunning views and excellent quisine. The owners were friendly and charming. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night! next time we will stay longer.

We only stayed here for one night, but we absolutely loved it. Great room with a four poster bed, lovely views and situated in great surroundings. Pancakes for breakfast were very nice!

We enjoyed our one night stay in this immaculately clean small hotel. The owners were friendly and helpful, advising on local attractions and walks etc. The room included complimentary biscuits, chocolate and bottled water. We were also given a voucher for reduced rate entry to Arundel Castle (well worth vewing). We were a little disappointed not to be told in advance...

This was our second visit to this lovely Country House and it was everybit as enjoyable as the first.. The weather was slightly better this time so we were able to take afternoon tea in the garden which in itself was a treat. Jackie and Steve were just as helpful and charming as we found them to be before and...

We have just returned from a two night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. The tiny hamlet of Burpham is a real find, with just a church and a very good pub and is set in the beautiful rolling south downs. Because the weather was so good, we saw it at it's very best too. Burpham Country House is an...

Fancied a night away and booked the morning that we went, room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated . We were too late to reserve a table for dinner at the house so walked to the pub round the corner, had amazing tasty food, a little pricey but well worth it. Bed was comfy and the breakfast ingredients locally sourced...

My girlfriend booked this place as one of our stop offs whilst we did the South Downs Way and we both thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this impeccably run hotel. Jackie, the co-proprietor, runs it with brilliant efficiency and is extremely attentive. Our room, complete with 4 poster bed and window seat, was excellent. We dined in the restaurant in...

Had a pleasant two-night stay at this charming B&B. It's remote in some ways and not easy to find, but it's a gorgeous little town and wonderfully quiet. The rooms are fine -- nothing over the top here, and completely adequate. Some of the rooms have very small showers (I'm 6' and struggled with mine), but are otherwise very nice....

Wow. We booked a long weekend in Sussex with the intention of meeting friends in nearby Arundel. The location couldn't have been better. A pleasant, quiet, small country village (one hotel, one award winning pub), situated a 5 minute drive away from the castle, cathedral, and charming town centre. We travelled with Ethan - our 8 month old son, and...
