I stayed here recently on a business trip and loved what I found. The setting is lovely and the buildings are quaint. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient. This would be a nice place to stay if you wanted to do the Giant's Causeway and the Antrim coast. My...

A family visit whilst on a break to the Causeway Coast. Recommended to us and claiming on their website a warm welcome to make sure you come back. That wasn't our experience. Cold and functional, the young sullen waitress really didn't care and she clearly didn't want to be there. The food was ok but felt rather chucked out rather...

We arrived late afternoon, check-in was friendly & efficient. Rooms are clean & comfortable (2 double beds in each), with a spacious ensuite bathroom incl. bath AND seperate shower. The pub is just lovely. Great staff & atmosphere. Dinner was fresh & tasty - we had trout, salmon, stroganoff & gnocci. And then, we made the best decision yet... blow...

Stayed here on 9th June was meant to be for two nights. For my husbands birthday and our wedding anniversary. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the mattress on our bed was so hard we would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. I ordered scampie for my meal which is a favourite of mine. I left...

Highly recommend for dinner, food was absolutely fabulous, large portions make it easy to share. Main courses and desserts stood out in our party of 6. This establishment was recommended by our B&B hosts at Crowfield House.

We were recommended The Brown Trout, as we were looking for a "dog friendly" place to stay in the area and we were not disappointed! We stayed in one of their 1-bedroom self catering cottages, which was fab. Well appointed with everything required, and they are serviced every day too. We ate in the restaurant one night and had breakfast...

Not having been to The Brown Trout for a number of years I was amazed at the changes made. We stayed in one of the cottages and I must say it was exceptionally well equipt. Everything you would need including a dish washer fridge and freezer. What a lovely touch was to find a pint of fresh milk , butter...

Stopped for a meal recently and it was lovely. Everything so fresh and tasty. Staff and management friendly and helpful. Worth a visit if passing by or worth going off track for. Chocolate brownie to die for. Beautiful grounds, fireplace is cosy. Try their gorgeous salads

I, together with my two daughters, their partners and my little grandson, stayed last Sunday night/through to bank holiday Monday. It was important to us as a family, to be together on this particular occasion and we could not have wished for a better experience. All three rooms, which were chalet style were very large. Each had two comfortable double...

Went there with my sons and their families for a relaxed Sunday lunch. We were all happy with our choice of meals. Good service in a friendly atmosphere. The restaurant was busy. The children were able too go outside to play while we waited for our meal. I like the new decor which really has freshened up the appearance of...
