Room was clean and comfortable with an excellent balcony which had a view of the mountain that overlooks Grodig. Went down for breakfast on the first day and was met with good staff who always greeted everyone with a nice good morning. The breakfast which was as expected continental, was very good with an excellent choice. The lady that served...

A beautiful hotel that lends itself to the traditional Austrian atmosphere with its style and wonderful service from the owner/manager. Twenty five minutes out of Salzburg by bus was not a hassle for us as the bus stops were conveniently placed, both in Salzburg and near the hotel in Grodig. The buses always ran on time. On arriving for the...

Hotel Sallerhof is family owned and a short drive/bus ride away from downtown Salzburg. Exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, big screen tv with German/English channels, beautiful balcony overlooking the country side. An excellent breakfast buffet is served daily; a coffee and vending machine in the lobby, that contains alcohol, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. Sallerhof offers excellent laundry service (no...

You must booked this place. It exceeded my expectations totally. From the friendly check in to the fancy breakfast that was so wonderful and the lovely ladies in the breakfast room were so nice. Fresh breads, organic jams and different honey, soft boiled eggs, fresh fruit and juices. Something for everyone and they offer American coffee, hot tea, and cappuccino....

The BEST visit and stay. You need to book your reservation and stay at this Inn. It's so clean and beautiful. The owners are so accommodating. The breakfast and coffee was one of the best meals we have ever had. I will be back. Loved every second at this Inn.

We'll be back! The owner and front desk manager goes out of his way to help. He's wonderful! We weren't able to arrive until after 11pm (2300), and the front desk usually closes before 8. He left keys for us in a lock box by the front door. He also answered all of our many questions about concerts in Salzburg....

Our stay was booked by our budget minded friends, and we had always wanted to stay out this way. We enjoyed the clean, spacious accomodations. Bath had plenty of counterspace. I found it lovely, accomodating, convenient, warm and friendly. Two critisisms... the young woman at checkin told us that something was open all week, and not just the weekends. True,...

- a superior room had minimum equipment, furniture etc. looked very cheap (we expected wood furniture, nicer bathroom... as we know others austrian country hotels). Rooms are overpriced, adequate as in 3*** hotel. - excellent breakfast: smaller variety but very high quality of food (home made cheese, very tasty bread, home made sweets etc...) - very friendly owner :-)

If you're in Salzburg and have a car, then Sallerhof is the perfect place to stay! Just outside the city -- a 10-min drive away -- this lovely cottage-like hotel stands in a small village, amidst fields, and right in the lap of the Alps! The mountains seem to be looming out of your backyard, offering stunning views from the...
