Just 1 night at this slightly remote hotel, but very friendly, comfortable and restful. The food was very good also and the views from the garden magnificent if a little hampered by the mist. Some interesting walks nearby.

Fantastic If you want to get away from the rat race then this is for you, (no walking home from the pub) so tranquil and beautiful, Wendy and Roger are very welcoming and friendly Very clean and well kept, lovely little touches like fresh fruit in the rooms. The bed was super comfortable with lovely fresh linen. Breakfast was top...

This place is absoutely amazing, if you are looking for a break where you will be away from everything this is place is perfect. Remote location set in beautiful farm land, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The farmhouse is around 45min drive to snowdon, where you can climb or take the railway to the summit. The...

Perfect setting and atmosphere for a ' get-away-from-it-all ' break. You will not be disappointed with any aspect of Hafod Elwy Hall. From sincere hosts, sumptious beds, mesmerising log fires, delicious home cooked (grown and reared) food, romantic walks and everlasting views..its got it all..I wish we were still there now and as I write this, I almost feel home-sick....

We chose this hotel at short notice for an overnight stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. There are only 3/4 rooms in this very old isolated farmhouse. They only take bookings for a minimum of 2 nights normally in high season but still had a vacancy and therefore accepted our booking. The large room with 4 poster bed...

Hotel is full of character! Breakfast is 11/10 and if u get a chance to try the homemade bread then do! Would put any baker to shame. Remote location is great and soooo peaceful also great not to have mobile signal. Perfect for weekend stay.

My husband and I spent eight days at this utterly glorious hall, (5th June until 13th June) I cannot praise it highly enough. We left feeling like friends even though Roger and Wendy were not 'in your face' at all. The Hall is situated in the midst of the most spectacular scenery on the Denbigh moors and the owners also...

We enjoyed 2 glorious days at the hall with dinner both evenings. The weather was great which was a bonus but the real plus points are the friendly welcome , log fires , comfortable accommodation and lovely home sourced food. We did not bring our dog along on this occasion but would recommend it as a dog friendly place with...

Have just returned from a lovely stay at Hafod Hall. Situated about 40 minutes drive from Snowdon it's a perfect place to rest after climbing Wales' highest peak. Plus points: - Roger is a wonderful cook and £20 for a 3 course meal is excellent value. Each meal was lovingly prepared and devoured with great pleasure. - No phone connection!...
