Nice busy pub with several different areas - we were in a dining room. Service was stretched but very friendly and very efficient. Drinks were good - great Pedigree on tap. Food on the Wednesday of our visit was very mixed. Specials seemed to be a good choice as the venison was great. Chilli was good. The ‘buttermilk’ chicken burger from the chargrill was poor. The chicken was disappointing quality for the price (£13.50) and overcooked. It was breadcrumbed triangle shaped chicken. We would not have guessed it had been cooked on a chargrill? Chips ok - venison was the star of the table.
Went for lunch and had mussels in a white wine sauce and tempura mushrooms. They were both very fresh and nicely presented. Nice log fire burning and very busy so suggest people book. Would come back again.
Lovely food, great staff always more than happy to help. Great atmosphere my only 1 small complaint is the car parking only 2 disabled spaces which if taken you may need to park on the road, and people park in some awkward places making it difficult to enter and exit at times
The friendliest place I’ve ever stayed?! Staff were so warm and welcoming - everyone from reception, to the bar tenders at night, to those serving breakfast in the morning: we really felt at home! We stayed in Guinevere’s Cottage, which is genuinely delightful: the right amount of rustic and modern. We’ll be back!
Stayed over for a wedding at the beginning of December. Cute pub cum event venue in the country side. Event area was beautifully done for wedding and was versatile with change from wedding to dining to dance floor. Rooms were reasonable size, quiet, beds could be more comfy. Reasonable bathroom size and good breakfast.
We stayed here for a Tuesday and Wednesday night for our works ' couples' do (fourth year of visiting). As always, the stay was fabulous - a cozy bar with a log fire; good beers; amazing food; comfortable rooms and fantastic staff. All in all another brilliant couple of nights. Thank you

Fourth visit to the King Arthur. Happy to say that nothing changes. A cosy well-stocked bar selling a good range of ales, wines and spirits. Friendly, professional, attentive and accommodating staff. Delicious bar/restaurant food including the famous laverbread with cockles and cheese. An excellent breakfast provided. Our room was well equipped, nice and warm. No issues whatsoever.
The King Arthur’s is a fabulous wedding venue. The facilities are top notch. The food was fantastic and the staff couldn’t have been any happier, friendlier or more helpful. Our son got married there and we could not have wished for any more. Very highly recommended.
Went there for the week-end and met my step-daughter for Sunday lunch. You cannot fault this place, the cleanliness, the food, the welcome, the friendly staff. This is a jewel in the Crown on Gower. Have stayed here several times in the past and it's faultless
