The room is ok, about average size with decent decoration and a lovely view (I was overlooking the front of reception). The downsides are the bathroom looks tired, a lightbulb was smashed, there was a sweet wrapper on the floor and a coffee cup was dirty. Also watch out for the £5 room service charge!!

Stayed for three nights as part of a group visiting the area. My room was very pleasant, quiet, spotlessly clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We ate in the restaurant every night and the staff there were delightful; very efficient and obliging. The hotel is situated in an attractive village.

We stayed here on the 12th of may for my birthday as we had done the previous year and i really cant find much fault at all, coincidentally we were even allocated the exact same room which was lovely. The receptionist who was on was great. We had previously eaten at oscars which we also decided to do again this...

This was booked as a birthday treat for my wife because of the hotel's proximity to Chester. We found it was quite highly recommended on TripAdvisor so booked it. The hotel was handy for Chester and in quiet surroundings. It is a nice, old building and the hotel bedroom we stayed in was clean, spacious and quite nicely furnished. The...

Our large group of 40+ stayed at Rossett Hall Hotel for a long weekend in April 2017. Staff were very attentive and accommodating to our various access, dietary and other needs. We were very impressed with the food and service at Oscars Brasserie and waiters were on the ball, friendly and polite. Although we had been concerned about noise from...

Such a shame they do not advertise more as this restaurant could do amazing, with a little more training and help. Our food was not perfect but the way the staff dealt with it was excellent and for that reason we would return. 'Please stick to what the menu states and do not add balsamic vinegar glaze to the soup,...

Dear MrsR2017-82, Thank you for reviewing your recent meal at Oscars Brasserie. I have taken on board your comments and discussed with chef. I do apologise that the courses you had you felt were only warm as this is not the usual standard of the meals we served in Oscars Brasserie. I do hope to welcome you back in the...

We stayed as a group for husbands birthday. Stayed for one night on Saturday. Lovely surroundings, very beautiful. Had lunchtime drinks pre-check in and going out for the day. No decaf coffee available. Asked staff if they were able to get it in for breakfast next day, said they'll try and awaiting delivery. Nice interior, lots of good potential. Our...
