We have visited this lovely friendly pub 3 times, and was worth it, everything was fresh home cooked food, the Bara Brith bread & butter pudding to die for, log fire in the bar, lovely locals. We are planning to stay next May for a week.

Stayed for one night whilst walking Cambrian Way, turned up without booking on the off chance of a vacancy, was rewarded with good friendly service, good food and comfortable accommodation. Will stay again.

This is a very friendly, real village pub, where all are made to feel welcome. It is not smart at all, but it has a good atmosphere, and is a great stopping off point if you are walking in the area, or en route elsewhere. The old bar is quaint and has an open fire in winter. Sunday lunches are quite...

We visited this pub while staying in a cottage 2 miles away. We had 2 evening meals during our stay and both meals were very nice and decent portions. On our second visit the pub was quite busy and had a party of 15 people eating but we still received our meals timely. The locals were very chatty with us...

Had an evening meal here on the recommendation of the owners of the B&B that we were staying at. Small, local pub at end if the village street so wouldn't have found it without directions. Very friendly staff and locals. Good pub food freshly cooked.

Back for sunday dinner at our favourite place. The roast beef is so tender it's the best I've ever had. Always a warm welcome. Great homemade food in a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Never ever had a bad meal here. Thank you once again.

Such a friendly pub. We had an overnight stay recently and enjoyed a lovely evening chatting to the locals. Our evening meal was delicious. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable and the breakfast (cooked by the lovely Gill) was really tasty and set us up for the day ahead. Would highly recommend this place for a taste...

Sorry about the pun. Booked this place on Monday for visit Tuesday. Stayed over Tuesday night to visit cad east on Wednesday. People we talked to in the bar were very friendly and helpful regarding the area. The pub itself was a quaint old inn serving a small range of beers and ales at reasonably prices, the icing on the...
