I stayed here in 1996 and again in the bunkhouse in 2005. Both were memorable but basic. Coming back in 2018 has seen a standard howf transform itself into a high end hotel. The bunkhouse has been replaced with individual rooms with French doors onto decking. The bar is still cos

We're staying at the Bridge of Orchy for one night as part of a CIE bus tour of Scotland and Ireland. We're on the 2nd bus since the first bus filled up and got reassigned to this hotel. It looks like it's in the middle of nowhere. We'll probably be getting there by 4 pm in August with many hours of daylight left. I'm interested in knowing if there are any hikes/walks we can do within walking distance of the hotel to kill some time.
Yes,there are walks of varying length & difficulty ,literally on your doorstep.. Enjoy

Does the hotel have a lift?
Think it might have one next to reception but not 100% sure - we walked up to first floor, so didn't have use for a lift
