We stopped here last minute and could not believe the excellent value for money. I’m not sure if it’s because it was last minute and the room was spare or they just offer amazing discount and excellent customer service. We will def return here
Booked via Groupon, brilliant value. Paid extra for upgrade room obviously recently modernised, very good value. Evening meal excellent, varied menu, staff very friendly and efficient. Cooked Breakfast very good. Reception always helpful. Our second stay but will be back for longer next time.

Im afraid I cannot answer your question as we stayed in a Cottage in the grounds as we have two dogs. As was said the Hotel is dated but has an olde world charm about it. We ate in The Hotel and found the food excellent with plenty of choice and as we were there for the New Year celebrations it was fabulous in the Marquee
