I can't believe some of the reviews on here. I stayed here on the 9th June. Food was great and I don't think it was too pricey for what you got. I have been in other places where you got less for your money. Staff were very friendly. Very helpful and you could enjoy a bit of a laugh and...

Only spent one night here after a days walking in Fort William, couldn't fault it. We had a Superior room which was spacious and clean, huge bath, great shower, the food was good and the staff very helpful and chatty. Surprised at reviews saying the owners were rude and unwelcoming, we found them to be completely the opposite, and the...

During our stay at Burnroy campsite (which was a very pleasant experience with lovely owners) we went out for a walk with our toddler. We decided to stop in at the stronlossit to have a drink and some food and had only just opened the door to the lounge bar when a hard faced woman roared at us not to...

I booked this room to attend a function in Roy Bridge. I was locked out at night, I found the owners Maurice & Sandra unhelpful and unwelcoming and felt that I was putting them out booking into their hotel. The room was ok but overpriced for what it was. The smoking area is at the front door underneath rooms so...

A flying overnight visit, spent mostly sleeping and trying to get in! Positives: nice decor, comfy rooms, good bathroom facilities. Negatives: sour-faced lady with a rather negative attitude. Curtly informed "don't deal with money". Also didn't inform us of breakfast or checkout times, which we had to discover second hand. Worse - arrived back at hotel at 12:30am to find...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights on our way to Inverness. Must admit we are a bit perplexed by the reviews on Trip Advisor as they seem to be mainly 5 star or 1 star - not much in between. We had a lovely stay and found the proprietors very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is...

This hotel was actually awful. Not only were the staff completely and utterly rude and unhelpful (apart from the older ladt waitressing and the french worker they had in), and even made a fuss about the fact that we wanted an extra pillow! The food was horrendous, seriously stuff i wouldn't even feed my dogs as it was all simply...

After reading most reviews, I was very worried about this hotel. We booked it as a package, along with other hotels on our roundtrip in Scotland, so we had no choice in the matter. Boy, was I relieved when we arrived and the owners, Maurice and Sandra, turned out to be very friendly and helpful. I really don't understand all...

Unfortunately, I had a nose to nose row with the owner of this hotel after we chose to check out after the first night. The room was not up to standard and we chose to leave after one night rather than stay for the full 6 that we had booked. The owner insisted he would charge us the full 6...

Found a room on a separate website and thought it looked a lovely place to base ourselves for the 4 days here and I have been completely blown away! Although the room is rather small for the price, I feel that everything else has more than made up for it! On our first night we decided to try the restaurant...
