We stayed here for two nights a few days ago and we had a really nice time. The Inn is in a lovely situation with pretty grounds and we spent ages watching the ducks around the pond from our room window! The staff were very nice especially our waitress, sorry I can't remember her name but she had just started...

We stayed in the cute little village of Roybridge in a remote lodge a mile or so from town. You can't miss The Stronlossit Inn coming into town, so we thought we would give it a try. The wait staff is very friendly and efficient. I had a burger, and it was excellent. Loved the onion rings!

The one positive thing about this place was the staff who did their best to be attentive and helpful. The rest... Furniture, decor, food and toilets all circa 1980. Shame the prices weren't. From the boil-in-the-bag rice served with the curry sauce from a jar to the chewy steak pie, the food was a disaster. Wine was awful and overpriced...

For quite a few years now, lunch at the Stronlossit Inn has been a highlight of our yearly journey from Fife to Skye. This cosy little pub managed to turn decent pub food into a real treat simply by offering the best hand cut chips I have ever tasted. Thick wedges of potato, fried till golden and served piping hot,...

Yes much to admire about The Stronlossit. Of course the location is superb, quiet and not too far from Fort William and the delights of the highlands and islands. It is set in nice wee grounds too and with snow on the hills and the sun in the sky is was very pretty indeed. The hotel itself is absolutely fine...

If you are looking for a quiet, restful break, this is the place to go. Hotel very comfortable, friendly management and staff, lovely rooms, cosy lounge with coal fire. Good food. Would recommend it. Village of Roybridge central for travelling to the mountains and the nearby town of Fort William.

We had eschewed this place as we were subject to some rude treatment in 2015. We read that there were new owners so decided to give it another go - and were very pleasantly surprised. The welcome was very warm & friendly from a lovely Romanian lady. Service was excellent and the food was as well with a decent range...

My girlfriend and I stayed here one night while on an 8 day trip of Scotland and Ireland. We found the hostess quite rude. We had dinner at the restaurant and received the same customer service from the waitress. We thought it might be we weren't used to the 'Scottish attitude' but when a local family came in, the waitress'...
