Chose this hotel based on recommendation and was overall disappointed with stay. Very average when expected more from a 4 star hotel. Was also overcharged on check out and only from calling to query was this rectified

Carden Park Hotel is set on beautiful grounds and the hotel itself is really lovely. We were allocated a courtyard room right at the very end of the hotel near the activity centre. This was fine, but the main external door that led to the bedrooms did not have a stopper or whatever you call them on it. This meant... More

You will gasp and marvel during the long drive up to the hotel. You will ooh and ahhh when you get to your room and feel a bit pampered. Your head will spin as you try to select from a choice active or relaxing activities. You'll notice the staff are friendly and professional and that your conference manager (if that's... More

We were put into this hotel by Ryanair due to a flight cancellation. We could not believe how lucky we were to be accommodated in such a magnificent hotel. Everything was as near to perfect as it could possibly be in all areas.

My husband and myself had a wonderful couple of days at your hotel. Will be back again soon. Our bedroom in courtyard no 402 was amazing. Food was fantastic. And was such a relaxing hotel. Thinking of booking to go back in february.

The hotel is lovely and the staff make your stay just that little more special. Atmosphere was like something out of a film and the countless facilities for you to take advantage of make this place what it is.

I've been to carden park a few times, love the balcony rooms, you can sit outside. The staff are all friendly and helpful, food is lovely and good sizes. Room service is great too, activities for the kids, relaxing and pampering for the ladies, golf for the men. Keeps everyone happy. Bar is nice and quite where you can sit... More

Always a good place to stay but refurb is well timed as some areas of the hotel need a lick of paint - including the pool area, corridors. Food and service very good in the Vines restaurant. Brekkie was a bit of a let-down with numerous hot items a bit lukewarm and a bit bland and tasteless.

Overall a very nice place to stay with a great environment. The common areas are very cozy and welcoming and the hotel staff was extremely helpful and very kind. I would certainly stay here again when visiting Chester.
