The staff in this pub are really friendly and helpful, however the rooms are a bit dated but we couldn't fault the service and the breakfast was lovely, we would stay again as it is reasonably priced. The beds were not particularly comfortable but not that bad that we wouldn't return

Just stay one night during a short trip in Kent and Sussex. THe Roebuck Inn is a nice and quiet place just around Maidstone. A warm welcome in a family atmosphere. Food, beer, people : everything was good !

Recently returned from a one-night stay at the Roebuck Inn. We were greeted by friendly staff and was able to check in to our room earlier than we expected. The manager was very helpful regarding the surrounding area, although our plan was to visit Leeds Castle. On our return from the Castle (which is fab!), we had a drink in... More

Two very comfortable nights - excellent room with en- suite bathroom. Lots of choices at breakfast in lovely surroundings. Very friendly and sociable people. A lovely family run establishment. Plenty of parking spaces. Thoroughly recommend and will use again.

My wife and I enjoyed some wonderful hospitality at the Roebuck. The staff were extremely friendly; the atmosphere, relaxed; the room very comfortable, and the breakfast was as full as we expected. We would certainly stay again.

Really warm, friendly atmosphere the second you step in. Lovely staff who are kind and helpful. Plus the rooms are really nice and quirky, which I loved :) Breakfast was also included, and that was made to order, which was awesome and greatly received. Just sad that our visit was so quick and we didn't spend a large amount of... More

I was heartened by the sight of the Roebuck on a bleak, stormy night in the week before Xmas. The place certainly scores well on it's appearance and proximity to the railway station after a seven hour train journey. Paying up front (which mmeans you have to pay seperately for your food and collect multiple receipts) can be a pain... More

Sorry to hear that your wasn't as comfortable as it could have been and we have passed the information about the mattress on. We were quiet surprised to hear that the quality of the beer wasn't up to standard, we make sure that every effort is put into keeping the lines perfect to ensure a nice beer on each pull,... More
