Stayed for two nights with my Mum in a lovely twin room. The bathroom and bedroom were spotless and the beds very comfortable indeed. It was quiet even when the customers left the pub at night, despite being a bank holiday weekend. The food was good and plenty of it. Best of all were the staff - they were efficient...

Here is another pub that has gastro pretensions but is really no more than a good, standard pub with restaurant. We were disappointed not to have been able to participate in the Sunday evening pub quiz (book early), but were happy to be settled down for dinner in the adjoining restaurant. The food was OK. The beer wasn't bad (in...

Stayed one night in a lovely comfy large room. The room was lovely it was decorated to a good standard and had a massive bed which was really comfy plus large bathroom with a bath and good power shower. Free wifi and parking which I always look for when finding somewhere to stay. Bit noisy in evening but you are...

A great welcome from the staff, lovely room, great breakfast and dinner. Ample parking available. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the atmosphere... We were late returning from a concert and upon our request (before we went out) a lovely cheese board kept for us on arrival. Thank you to all the staff!

Loved it here. Food is good, prices fair and rooms are lovely and clean and relaxing. The village is very quaint well worth a walk about. It does get a bit noisy on an evening but the pub closes at midnight so all good after that.

Our room was clean and tidy with tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, shortcake biscuits and a nice selection of toiletries provided. We were given a twin room (room 12) which was wheelchair accessible and had a wet room with shower, which did not bother us, but might be an issue if you are insistent on a double bed...

These rooms a well created and have a simple elegance about them - actually very quiet above the pub and the little villa ones are adorable. Really good if you are staying in the Wye area and want a not expensive but nice place to stay

From start to finish a excellent experience. The room # 1 was comfy, clean and quiet despite being over the bar. The staff were exceptional , parking easy and wifi easy to access. Will be back on my next visit. Breakfast was great. Walk into the village and try the " Coffee Place". The church is worth a visit.

Whilst on holiday nearby with our grandchildren, 6 and 2, we enjoyed 3 meals here. There is a big garden with play area and the food was excellent. Usually there are places we would eat with children but would not necessarily go on our own. Here the food and service were so good we would certainly be regulars if we...
