This was our second visit in 12 months, this time with our daughter and her partner. 1st trip was booked via travel zoo this one direct with the Inn. As with our first visit we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Middle of nowhere, no phone or Internet. Log fire....and G&T's great! The meal and breakfast were excellent as expected. However we...

My husband & I stayed here for 4 nights - it was so relaxing it felt much longer. The bed was huge and so comfortable. Food was very good and staff were great - nothing was too much trouble. Great place to stay, especially for exploring the North Yorks moors and surrounding area. We loved it and will definitely return.

Had a 2 night stay, Friday & Saturday, Valentine's weekend. Room was very warm and comfortable despite the freezing weather outside. Bathroom was also newly refurbished. Excellent breakfast menu, smoked Salmon, kippers etc. Ate in the restaurant both nights and food was very good. If you fancy a stay in the middle of nowhere, I would recommend this Inn. Good...

Spent a couple of nights here recently with friends for a walking break. The Inn at Hawnby is a great location with some fabulous walks and countryside. We were fortunate with the weather which helped. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill which was a real challenge after a long walk. The rooms were warm and comfortable,...

Stayed two nights in December using Travelzoo voucher. The inn owns four small stable conversion rooms just over the road which are lovely and spacious. Rooms are clean with all usual amenities. All staff are very helpful and welcoming.Food and beer is very good and well priced!! Will be going back.

Tucked away in a small hamlet the hotel has great beer, good restaurant and the management were helpful in making this a great weekend for our group. The walks around the area were good and ranged from short to very long. Note: there is some demanding terrain and the hotel is on an incline. Even if you want a quiet...

Found a great offer and booked direct with the Inn. Had a overnight stay with friends, to sample the food, as we had heard it was good. We all had difficulty making a choice as the menu offers all looked so good. We enjoyed the meal very much and will have to go back so that we can try some...

Our first visit to The Inn at Hawnby. we 4 stayed 2 nights on a DBB package, very good value, rooms spotless and comfortable. Our bathroom had recently been refurbished to an excellent standard. Dinner was superb with attentive unobtrusive service. Cooked breakfast was first class, a better choice of fruit would have been nice. real ale was in excellent...

Great location for walkers and to escape for weekend but the food served is appalling for the prices set. Considering the pub welcomes walkers, the menu offers the tiniest unappertising meals to satisfy any stomache. We escaped for a weekend of hopeful relaxing 'our time' to be left very hungry and disappointed with the whole offering. No bottled water in...
