Good portions of beef, pork or turkey and large selection of vegetables. Yorkshires were good too. I thought the selection of desserts could have been more adventurous, and also include something made with chocolate. Service was friendly and efficient.

We stayed here for two nights in a twin room. The room was adequate but not what we expected after paying £96 per night. It had no atmosphere - needed a few pictures in the walls - very basic and the shower room was similar - no frills. Breakfast consisted of a buffet which was the smallest pathetic display I...

Booked this pub/restaurant on a recommendation from family at last minute on the day (a Saturday) happy to accommodate us, gave us several time options. Lovely traditional looking inside pub style restaurant, all lit with candles on the tables and around the restaurant. We actually arrived an hour early by accident and they were happy to accommodate us no problem...

I went to The Plough with my wife & family for lunch on Tues 13/10. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly lady called Dawn who was so helpful, particularly as two of our party are gluten free eaters. She made sure that everything they (and we) needed was catered for, plus she had a sense of humour which made us...

We spent two nights at the Inn recently, this being our first visit to Norfolk. The service was excellent, the food lovely, both breakfast and dinner and the room comfortable. We would stay again if we revisit Norfolk.

Trying to review as a restaurant which visited as a family on Saturday. This was a large group and we'd pre-ordered the food from an very extensive and interesting menu. The belly pork was without question one of the finest meals I have ever enjoyed. Cooked and presented to perfection. Service was efficient, friendly and very professional. Definitely be going...

Warm greeting, lovely twin room, beautiful en-suite with loads of space. Breakfast excellent, meals in the restaurant beautiful and presented well. Lovely quiet setting, good road links to other places in Norfolk. Only down side was the location was too far to walk to another place in the evening if we wanted to. Staff really friendly :)

I spent two days at The Plough last week. The room was really comfortable and the atmosphere was great. I thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food (from a very varied menu), and Val and Roger were delightful hosts. I would visit again in a heartbeat, and recommend trying it out if you find yourself in the vicinity.

I booked a stay at The Plough for my partner and myself. We were visiting friends so the location was ideal. On the way there we had travelled a long time, the traffic was bad so I rang to say it would be pushing 10 pm. This was not a problem at all, the lady who answered was so accommodating,...
