Our room was a twin, overlooking the pool and the other rooms at the hotel which was a disappointing start. The beds were comfortable, but the bathrobes had holes in all pockets and were very frayed. Again, disappointing especially for the price you pay to...More

Hi There, we found our rooms were all very quiet and peaceful. If you are disabled I think you would need to be in the newer part of the hotel as there is lift access.
I stayed in Slayley a few years back and in Matfen just last week, but based on that I would prefer Matfen - so if the prices are comparable go for Matfen.
