Room was dirty, run down and the bathroom smelt musty! No opening window or air-con... Only a patio door which had to be locked over night or when not in the room. Shared our room with 2 beetles and several spiders! Cheap hotel trying to be posh!

We stayed for the first time at the Parsonage. It was a break for our pearl anniversary. The whole stay was perfect. A beautiful spacious room with wonderful views. Excellent afternoon tea in the lovely conservatory. One of the best spas we have visited. A great gastro pub with extensive menu and top quality food. Bus stop right outside the...

My daughter and I decided we would indulge in a spa break to celebrate my daughter passing her exams and becoming a dental nurse. When we arrived the Receptionist was very helpful and went the extra mile to accommodate our every need which made our stay most enjoyable and relaxing. The facilities were second to none and the staff were...

Everything was fantastic apart from the twin beds which were a small double and small single, both very narrow. This is a beautiful building which has been extended to include more accommodation and a all inclusive luxury swimming pool and spa.

A party of 16 visited midweek to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. The spa was lovely and I can recommend the massage. The room was spacious however basic. Room 20 felt dark and even with lights on still didn't get better. Bed comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities however disappointed to find no sweetner available. Also friends rooms in our party...

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights on a Superbreak, with the afternoon tea and evening meal included. Our room was in the Coach House, an annex of the hotel; clean, comfortable and peaceful, which added to our relaxation. The service provided by all of the staff could not be faulted - service with a smile, friendly, polite and...

Having been to The Parsonage a few times before and always enjoyed it we booked an overnight stay to use the spa and wind down. The room we were given was in the very top of the main house "the tower". After climbing up the incredibly steep stairs we were led to a room that in no way was ever...
