My wife and I decided to take a few days away for Easter at Beachside in Westward Ho! And to avoid the bank holiday traffic we looked for somewhere to stay on the Thursday night so that we could set off Thursday lunchtime. I looked for somewhere near to Minehead so as to get the best part of the journey...

We are on a trip of the UK and this place was recommended to us from our Air B&B hosts and what a great traditional pub, the cottage pie was the best I've ever had! My boyfriend had the steak and ale pie and was just as good! The beef was very tender and very tasty! What a shame we...

In the run up to the trip I contacted the inn and received prompt responses. Upon arrival we were made to feel very welcome by staff and locals alike. Room 1 is beautiful, bathroom amazing and the bath tub is wonderful. Food and company in the bar was superb. We had steak and scampi but it took us a long...

Just had a lovely Sunday lunch here at the white horse. Firstly I was impressed that it's dog friendly (I wish I'd bought my dog). I had beef which was cooked to perfection, lovely and tender...they provided steak knives which was a nice touch just incase. The vegetables came in a separate bowl, and was plenty there to share, others...

Had Sunday roast here last weekend, very nice and our roast dinner, complete with pudding was only £10 - bargain - nice selection of vegetables as well. Will definitely visit again. Good sized car park and appeared to be dog friendly, as there was a bowl by the front door, however we left our 4 legged friend in the car!

Stayed here for a night and were really surprised by all aspects of the inn. From the moment we walked in through the door we were made to feel very welcome. The Landlord, staff and locals made us feel as if we were regulars. This is a 'proper' pub and plays an important part in village life. The Cotleigh Brewery provide two...
