We were a party of three who spent five nights at Fairhaven Guest House on a winter warmer break. This was our second winter warmer break, enjoying it so much last year we felt we had to come back again. The welcome was as warm as ever. The breakfasts were superb, you were spoilt for choice. Nothing was too much...

When we decided to go away for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary we chose the Fairhaven and we were not disappointed. When we arrived the lovely Liz met us in the car park and helped us in with our luggage. We stayed in room 2. This room is at the front of the house with stunning views out onto the moors....

We stop here frequently for 1-2 nights when visiting friends in Goathland - we are made to feel like one of the family. Very comfortable bedrooms. Great breakfasts. Centrally located with fantastic views over the Moors. We should plan to stop longer in future!

Homely in the best sense, where every wish, question or need of guests are immediately attended to. Breakfasts are superb, especially the vegetarian specials. Tea and cakes in the afternoon are a very welcome bonus, as is the advice as to where to eat in the evenings - and the booking of tables for it. All in all it would...

My husband and I and a couple of friends stayed here for a short break. We had a lovely time. A lovely tray of cakes and a pot of tea on arrival. It's spotlessly clean, and they really are 'The perfect hosts'. The bed was really comfy, and the breakfast was excellent with a good choice. All in all a...
