The Three Coopers is a very nice, welcoming, ordinary boozer. The people running it are also very nice and clearly put a lot of effort into the place; from the superb fish tanks in the bar to the lovely beer garden outside. Our room (number 4) was large and had a very smart and modern decor. The en suite bathroom...

Always have great visits in this friendly and welcoming pub. Land Lord and land lady are very accommodating and hospitable. The beer garden is a beautiful place to relax with friends. There is also a TV showing live sports. The interior of the pub is clean and with tvs and large fishtanks so there is plenty to keep you occupied...

Had a fantastic time, there the owners was great, very friendly and pleasant , the rooms were large enough and en suite for its value. Would definitely return in the future for both business and pleasure.

Did not stay as a guest or have meals but visited the pub on several occasions and if the rooms are as good as downstairs you will have a good time. Very good beer with excellent service. Rob and Sara are excellent hosts - very chatty but not too "familiar" They gave out information on other premises (including other pubs)...

This was a lovely pub. Obviously a drinking mans pub but still it was exceptionally clean & both the staff & the customers were very friendly. My husband assures me the beers were well kept & my wine was good too. The room we stayed in was pretty, clean, comfortable & warm. Breakfast was excellent, very fresh & tasty. The...

We were originally deceived by our early impression of the pub when we entered: Classic old fashioned pub (nothing wrong with that, by the way) but we were surprised by the high standard of the room: warm, comfortable, lots of extras. The breakfast was excellent - we managed to cope with it all on one plate! (re another posting). However,...

We stayed at The Three Coopers for a couple of nights to enjoy a relaxing weekend in Bedale. We were greeted by Sara and Rob, a lovely couple (with an equally lovely dog). Both were really friendly and welcoming and nothing too much trouble for either of them . They kindly reserved us a table at the local Italian restaurant...

Just off the main street in Bedale, you discover this little hidden gem The first thing to experience is a genuine welcome from the manager Sara, who oozes enthusiasm and is obviously switched on about the business; Secondly an inviting, unpretentious, rustic-like local: real ales, real people, wood burning fire and two large fish tanks, containing very large fish. Oh...
