There's lots of great pubs in Bedale but this was our favourite - really friendly welcome, superb service and a quirky feel to the place. We especially enjoyed the selection of vinyl records free to be played!

Booked in at the last minute when a space became available at the Harrogate Fair. No onsite parking but public parking close by. Early breakfast no problem - lovely well cooked. Both stairs and emergency stairs very steep - not suitable for the elderly.
